Use sub-wallets to keep track of budgets

Create separate Wallets for specific purposes to keep track of budgets. Sub-wallets are part of the Pleo Wallet, but have specific vendor cards or employees assigned to them. Any transactions made by the vendor cards or employees assigned will be deducted from the sub-wallet instead of the Main Wallet.

Setting up a sub-wallet

1. Navigate to Wallet
2. Click Add sub-wallet
3. Add a Sub-Wallet name 
4. Enter the amount you'd like to put in - these funds will be transferred from your Main Wallet
5. Select Vendor and Personal Cards that should be assigned to the Wallet
6. Click Create a sub-wallet

Good to know: 

• Only Admins and Bookkeepers can create sub-wallets
• If a user added to a sub-wallet pairs a new card in the Pleo app, make sure to delete the user from the sub-wallet and add them again to make sure the new card is assigned to the sub-wallet.

Using sub-wallets

To make changes to the assigned cards, move money, set up Auto-top up or delete a sub-wallet:

1. Navigate the Wallet
2. Select the sub-wallet
   • To move money:
     1. Click Move money
     2. Select a sub-wallet
     3. Enter the amount you want to move
   • To add assigned cards: 
     1. Click Add cards 
     2. Select the cards that should be added to the sub-wallet
   • To enable Auto top-up: 
     • Click Turn on next to auto top-up
     • Select how you want to top up
     • Choose a top up amount
   • To delete a sub-wallet:
     1. Click on the 3-dot menu in the right top corner
     2. Select Delete
     3. Confirm
