Request access to Pleo on behalf of a colleague

Who can request access?

Anyone with the "employee" user role can request access. If you also have "reviewer" responsibilities, you have more than one way to request access. Admins can invite anyone they want, so they don't see this option.



  • This functionality is currently available to customers on paid plans. Later this year, it will also be available to customers on "Starter" (free) plan.

  • This functionality is not yet available to customers with a multi-entity setup. But it's coming soon!


How to request access

In the mobile app:

  1. Click the icon in the bottom right corner to go to your account. 

  2. Click "Add team members."

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to notify your admin. 

If you have "reviewer" responsibilities, you can also invite colleagues from the "Review" section in the mobile app:

  1. Click the "eye/reviewer" icon in the mobile app. 

  2. Click on the plus icon next to "People."

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

A request triggers an email to your admin(s).


The approval process

Admin(s) can approve or decline any requests by:

  1. Going to the the People page in the web app.

  2. Clicking "Requests":

  3. Clicking "Decline" or "Approve".

    • Approving the request automatically sends an email invite to the referred colleague. The requester is not notified.

    • No one is notified if the request is declined.
