Expired Card Replacement

This guide outlines the automated card replacement flows for expiring cards, a feature designed to ensure uninterrupted service.


Physical card replacement

Admin side

  1. We’ll send you an email 60 days before the card expires
  2. Click Update delivery address in the email
  3. Confirm or edit the address
  4. A replacement card will be sent out automatically 30 days before the expiry date


Good to know

  • If no response, the company's registered address will be used.
  • You’ll get an email when the card is on its way, and you can track the delivery on the card orders section.


Employee side

  1. Once received, go to Cards in the Pleo app
  2. Select the physical (gray) card
  3. Click Replace
  4. Enter the last 4 digits of your new Pleo card


Good to know

  • Activating the new card will automatically deactivate the old one.
  • Add your new card to your digital wallet and make sure your card information is updated wherever it's used.


Virtual card replacement

Cardholders will get 3 reminders (email and push notification) before the card expires. Here’s how to renew a virtual card:

  1. Click Renew virtual card in the email or push notification
  2. Click Renew under your current card
  3. Confirm the renewal
  4. Your old card will be deactivated, and a new one with unique details will be created


Good to know

  • If nothing is done, the card will expire on its expiry date. The cardholder can then create a new one in the App.
  • Only the cardholder can renew the virtual card on their side.
  • Add your new card to your digital wallet and make sure your card information is updated wherever it's used.
