Pleo Reserve

Reserve is available for all eligible customers in the UK, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. We're very keen to get you up and running, and excited to hear any and all feedback.

What is Pleo Reserve ?

With Reserve, it's possible to have a negative Wallet balance. The negative balance ranges are:

  • A minimum of 2,000 GBP and a maximum of 50,000 GBP in the UK
  • A minimum of 2,000 EUR and a maximum of 50,000 EUR in Germany
  • A minimum of 20,000 SEK and a maximum of 500,000 SEK in Sweden
  • A minimum of 15,000 DDK and a maximum of 370,000 DKK in Denmark

Why Pleo Reserve?

  • You won’t have to worry about having enough funds for unusually large purchases or while waiting for your next auto top-up.
  • It's very straight-forward to pay back the negative balance. The owed amount will simply be deducted from your next Wallet top-up. For example, if your Wallet has negative 10,000 SEK / 1,000 EUR and you top up 50,000 SEK / 5,000 EUR , the balance will be 40,000 SEK / 4,000 EUR.

How to get started

Before you get started, you need to have auto top-up enabled.

Once auto top-up is enabled:

  1. Go to the Wallet page in Pleo.
  2. Click on the Reserve banner. Please note that customers that aren't eligible for Reserve functionality won't see the banner.
  3. Follow the on-screen activation steps.

Done! It's now possible for your Pleo Wallet to have a negative balance.

You can always make changes to your Reserve setup after it's activated. The only stipulation is that your Wallet needs to have a positive balance.

What is the minimum auto top-up amount?

The minimum top up amount has to be the same as your activated Reserve limit.

Can I choose a lower limit than what I am eligible for?

You can choose the limit you wish to activate which can be less than or equal to the limit you’re eligible for.

How do you pay back the Pleo Reserve balance?

As stated further up in this article, the negative balance amount will simply be deducted from your next Wallet top-up:

  1. Through an auto top-up transfer, which you'll set up when activating the Reserve functionality
  2. Through a manual Wallet top-up, which is always possible to do even when auto top-up is turned on

How much does Pleo Reserve functionality cost?

Reserve is currently free regardless of the limit. However, in the future we might charge a fee for limits above 2,000 GBP / 2,000 EUR / 20,000 SEK / 15,000 DDK.

Are there any overdue fees?

Yes. If an amount is overdue for longer than 7 days, it will incur an annual overdue fee. The annual fee for customers registered in the United Kingdom is 8%; for Germany it's 15%; for Sweden 10%; and for Denmark 11.75%. Additional fees may apply.

What if your company is unable to repay the negative balance?

If you’re having difficulties repaying, we’d be happy to discuss repayment plans with you. Please get in touch with us at [email protected].
