Earn with Pleo Investment Account

Pleo's Investment Accounts lets you keep your company’s idle funds accessible within Pleo, while generating a variable yield of ~2% every month. We've partnered with licensed financial institutions to help your business earn competitive yields on funds held directly within the Pleo ecosystem - learn more about our partner

The Investment Account feature is currently in the testing (Beta) phase and available to a limited number of German Pleo customers only. Reach out to your Customer Sucess Manager if you would like to get early access to it.

What does it cost

Investment accounts are part of the cash management add-on (which is a paid add-on).

  • No investment fees - Pleo does not charge a fee on the amount you deposit, nor do we take a percentage of the yield you earn. Your returns are your returns.
  • No account opening fees - Starting an Investment Account is free of charge.
  • No withdrawal fees - There are no fees or limitations on withdrawing funds from your Investment Account.

How much can you earn

The yield accrued on your Investment Account is paid to your Pleo account monthly, within the first week of the month. You’ll see it as a new transaction in your account and in the Investments tab, showing the amount and any tax withholdings.

Your funds are specifically invested in the Deutsche Managed Euro Fund – Platinum (ISIN IE0008643037). You can track the fund's year-over-year performance directly on the DWS website.

The funds in your Investment Account are placed in a Money Market Fund (MMF), which earns a variable yield that changes with market conditions. This is not a guaranteed fixed rate. While the rate fluctuates, as a recent example, annual yields for MMFs have been in the ~2% range.
