Reset passcode or authentication method

Only Admins and bookkeepers with extended access can reset passcodes and authentication methods. If you don't have admin access, reach out to your Admin.

To reset a passcode or authentication method:

  1. Navigate to People
  2. Select the person who needs a passcode or authentication reset
  3. Click the three-dot menu
    • Select Reset passcode
    • Select Reset two-factor login to change the authentication method - you can choose between SMS code or authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy)
  4. The employee will receive an email to reset their password or authentication method, the link in the email will remain valid for 24 hours.
