What to do if you see the message “Export to journal could not be performed”

The cause:

This message comes up when there is a special character such as a slash “/” within an account name. This is not supported by Datev, so the export fails. For example:



The solution:

In Datev, change the name of the account to remove the slash, and the try again. If that doesn't fix the issue, please contact our support team.
