With Pleo, you can have one plastic card and one virtual card assigned to your account. These are two separate cards with different details, so they need activating separately.

Pleo Virtual Cards

To activate your virtual Pleo card, simply click on the Unlock my card button from the webpage under the My cards menu, or the Activate card button from the mobile app.

Pleo Plastic Cards

If you have received a Pleo plastic card and want to pair it to your account, just follow these steps:

  • Open your Pleo app

  • Go to Cards

  • Click the Plastic card

  • Select the + button or click the Pair card button

  • Enter your Passcode/Biometrics

  • Enter the last four digits of your Pleo plastic card

  • Your card is now paired and ready to use with the PIN code shown.

If you already have a card but trying to pair a new one, simply click the Freeze button and confirm with your Passcode/Biometrics. Then go back to the plastic card and select the Lost or Stolen button in order to deactivate your current plastic card. Once this is done, you can follow the above steps and pair your new Pleo card.


Pleo cards are associated with individual employees. Each employee has to pair/activate their own Pleo card from the Pleo webpage or the mobile app.
