During on-boarding we will ask some simple questions regarding how you expect to use Pleo. This is part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) process – it includes location, categories and some spend information.
As a regulated Financial Services company, we are required to know a little about our customers and their intended use of our products. Don't worry, we will never hold you to these answers or intervene with your account because of them, but they do help us understand you a little better. They may even help us in identifying Fraud risk, or if we know that you are likely to spend in a high risk jurisdiction this will help us internally.
